FPSE is still maintained by Mathias "AmiDog" Roslund, but WOS version was abandoned in 2002.
I wonder if he still have the old source code so that hopefuly anyone skilled enough can add sound? That would be perfect.
Yeah it seems the WarpOS versions don't have source up there, it's a shame like with Truereality the Warp3D HW acceleration doesn't work either and also no sound.

Still struggling with some issues, most likely caused by low power.
When I measure voltage at the connector when amiga running I see only 4,75V (when ATX PSU) and 4,85V with original PSU. I think its still too low for completly stable operation. Any tips for good PSU with good voltage at 5V?

For an A4000 Desktop I use a Corsair SF-450, 5V is a little low but completely stable but mind my comment above about connecting the pins to the monitor lines. It also leaves lots of extra room, but the fan is driven by load which there is not enough of, so I just connected that to a regular fan header. Also you have to do something about the power on button.

In the A4000D tower I have a Corsair CS550M which gives almost exactly 5V. The CSxxxM series I can recommend but stay away from the CX series. GS series is good too but it's too big. I don't think either of these will fit in an A4000d though, and they also have the problem that the fan speed ramps up from load so I run them off of a fan header.

Also like I said above, replace the A4000 motherboard connector. I use the gold connectors with the matching motherfucking GOLD pins, only because I couldn't find mithril or adamantium. Part number is 350827-4 which is still in stocked by the usual parts suppliers.

Thanks a lot for advice. I realized one of my seasonic tfx psu gives slightly over 4.9V under load and although its only 16Amp at 5V, all seems finaly stable.
Managed to run lots of softwares well, only that blitzquake still no-go for me.

I may get my hands on a Sonnet Crescendo 7200 G3/400 MHz and 1 MB Cache. Can anyone specify what type of memory boards I need for it. And what is the total (and per board) maximum?

Thanks!

In theory 3x256MB FPM 5V RAM. Only that the total amount of available PCI memory to work with without any tricks (on the Amiga with a Mediator) is 256MB. And that 4K refresh DIMMs somehow don't work. Which is 128MB and up. So in the end you end up with 3x64MB 2K refresh 5V FPM DIMMs. (=192MB).

Didn't you fix that? :-P It's just before the ChangeStack() function.

Noooope. If Blitz 6.1 works on Sonnet it's not because of me "fixing" that (.... Just pushing the sonnet developer to his limit to perfect his work

BlitzQuake always crashes (exception) after "sound inicialized".
But it works with -nosound option.
Still it freezes after minute or so of playing the demo.

I've bought quite a few of these and they work:

Try renaming your config.cfg if you ran the 68k version. Also make sure VoodooINT=YES in your ENVARC:Mediator/

Yes. Not sure about buffered or unbuffered, though

Which AHI are you using and which driver? I think it uses the music unit. So not unit 0 to 3.

I've been buying the same kind which is apparently buffered. Also the EDO DIMM I have coming in the mail is buffered too which shouldn't be a problem (hint, hint).

Like you don't know already (wink, wink).

On a serious note: There is a config program in the works and I've made some progress regarding a certain emulator, but the new job I have since November eats a lot of time.

Interestingly freezes when demo play always at the same place: after getting gold key and shooting grenade.
Regarding sound, according to snoopdos, it did not even load ahi.device etc. before crash.
Int for voodoo are set to yes.
update: 68k version works with sound, but freezes at the same place as the wos version.
btw. big respect to all people involved in sonnet hackery. You guys did amazing achievements, I still can not believe this is a reality

In that case you probably have a corrupted file maybe the grenade explosion sound file.
