In my desktop A1200/ACA1230/56 I'm using a Fast Ata MKII, and I want the Indi for it. Apart of cut/quit the shielding I want to know if they will fit (I know it's a new design, and I believe than smaller than the previous Indi) and if I will be able to close the keyboard without problems.

And just hope that there will be enough boards made, as I can't order it till next month.

You could use ROM risers for the FastATA to raise it slightly.

it should just squeeze in.

if you look at my pic here:

that dvd drive only *just* touches the bottom of the keyboard, so you've got a fair amount of room

That will be a tight squeeze, but it may well be possible with some ROM risers.

Thanks both. Great, great I'll love to make it Edit: "that dvd drive only *just* touches the bottom of the keyboard, so you've got a fair amount of room" that's true... or not, because the height decreases going down, but as you've got it working... (EDIT: No, you havent...)

I just hope IC will make some thousands of boards, as they will sell them all.

Edit: @diablothe2nd... Fast Ata, Dvd drive, Indi, Pico Psu... have you made a thread? I would like to see it.

I had to cut the metal backplate of keyboard because I used 2x ROM risers to be able to mount FastATA along with BVision.

Using just 1x ROM risers should be ok.

there's no pico psu in there, i've split the incoming power off in parallel at the mains connector so the power to the dvd and floppy drive isn't pulling via the motherboard, and I'm using a modified ATX psu for some extra wollop.

here's my thread:

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=62473

i'll soon be taking the mobo completely out to replace the rom sockets with amigakit's round pin ones for a better connection, while i'm at it i'll move the power split from to bottom of the mobo instead of the back of the socket

edit - i'm considering taking out the RF/RCA video box thing from the motherboard and having the DVI connector go there. should *just* fit, so will be nice and tidy and not hog the rear expansion if i manage to find a BPPC with all the trimmings XD

Thanks for your link. Yes, I'll be doing the same with the Rf place, and I already have round pin sockets to use. I've bought an Hdmi adapter too, which I hope to use if there's any Indivision to buy in April.

Have you got it working in Pio5 with the B1260?

Here is pinout for dvi to HDMI.

I'll source out parts. I would prefer a HDMI output directly from the Amiga without the use of multiple adapters

http://pinouts.ru/VideoCables/hdmi_d...e_pinout.shtml

Link for preorder MkII on Amigakit is broke, i tried to preorder 2 but page won't load

I think they edited it. I opened the link, and added it to my basket earlier today, and now that i got back, i processed the order, and payment. Then i came back to this thread, and figure out that something changed, and go back to their site. And yeah, now the button is gone. Also shipping went up from 3.something to 4.something while i jumped back and fourth before processing, and paying. Shame i didn't just pay it, it would have been like 0.7% cheaper... ;- )

Oh well.
B!

cool thanks! i wonder if i can make an adapter to take the L/R audio through the HDMI cable. I've got two perfectly good speakers built into the tv and dont like the idea of cluttering up an already busy desk.

It's not that simple as the L/R audio from the Amiga is Analog while the HDMI gives Digital audio.

There are converters that can take DVI plus Analog Audio and can give you and HDMI with Video and Audio.
Some are HDCP enabled and some aren't.

building a small analog to digital sound board would work. A header could be placed on the hdmi output board in the Amiga
