My first game on Amiga was Oil Imperium. WONDERFUL!

But the game where I stuck to from the beginning is Sensible World of Soccer. I'm proud to own EVERY Sensi related game...

It was Silkworm on my friends (big brothers) A500 it was like Arcade graphics to me still using my spectrum! Then he showed me Test Drive and I was blown away.

1st game I ever encountered on the Amiga was Karate Kid II, laugh if you will but I almost pooped in my pants during the 'ice scene' @ 0m58s [ Show youtube player ]

And of course there's the time when we 'played' (I say played I mean gawped in awe) Shadow of the Beast, Stunt Car Racer, New Zealand Story and hell even Batman the Movie on our school Miggy 500 instead of using DPaint during lunch hour 'Art Club' in high school.

The first game i encounted was sinbad (cinemaware) on my mates amiga and i had an atari st at the time and i realised what a mistake it was to buy an atari and the said atari broke down 6 times in six months with the same fault the built in power supply which was overheating all the time and obviously was going to break down regular.
Also the spectrum 128k sound chip in it was the final straw and so i bought an amiga 500 1.3 for £445 and the salesperson knocked off around 10% for cash and i got feud and spaceranger thrown in as well chuffed i was.

Shadow of the beast 1 !!! The sound was (and still is) so incredible that I believed that my friend installed a TV in his room... I will never forget the first time i saw the intro and heard that music... What an atmosphere, WHAT A SHOCK !!! We played it all this memorable afternoon and then i went back to home with millions stars in my head

One month later, my parents bought my A500 (still alive and active nowadays ) with Unreal, THE game that litteraly blew my mind like no others. Simply outstanding !!!

The first amiga game I ever saw was Flight Simulator II on an A500 in the Softline store in Sheffield. It was a small shop above a ladies clothes shop. I was amazed at the outside view of the plane.

A few months later I had an A500 with the Silica 10 Pack plus Flight Sim II.

First Amiga game i ever saw was Shadow Of The Beast running on an in-store demo in Dixons in 1989, totally blown away, though i couldn't afford one, I walked out with a Master System! It wasn't until 1992 when i swapped my MD with Sonic 1 for my friends Amiga 500 100 odd pirated games and disks, greatest swap ever!

For me, it was Pinball Wizard.
I liked it, as I'm addicted to Pinball Simulations, but back then I thought "So this should be so mach better then the C64?"
But the Amiga came with a huge collection of safety copies, so I got cured quite fast.

The first game i saw on Amiga was ArcticFox in a Computershop at the end of 1986.

I loved to play that one on my C64 ,and when i saw the incrdible Amiga 1000 3D graphics i start saving for buyme one, at the end i manage to get all the money
in 1987 and i bought the Amiga 500 smaller but with more features.
and the first game i played on my Amiga 500 was TestDrive.

The first game I saw was Defender of the Crown - Me and my mate, Zeb, went to a dealer in West Bridgeford, Notts - We had a pre-book a 'viewing' and as soon as I saw the gold colour cycling on the title screen, I knew I was going to have to get one somehow. Then he showed us a disk copier (can remember the name (maybe Burst Nibbler?)) and it played 'Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me' and again colour cycled the screen gold. I HAD TO HAVE ONE NOW!

The next month I took delivery of my Amiga 1000.... Oh happy days....

That was some time in 85/86 but now I have to work for a living and the 'Man' has destroyed my ability to have fun and dream!

Well it was Obliterator for me as well as Defender of the Crown and Ports of Call back in the 80s also a game called Black Shadow the speech at the start of the title Welcome to CRL and the classical style music in the back ground. I was at a high school friends house there was this shiny new A500 and he had a load of copyed games to show me and the above games we played them for hours all I had was a 64c at the time the sound and GFX blew me away I had to have one a few months later I had my A500 512k and Kickstart 1.2

My dad's first Amiga came with Deluxe Paint, Goldrunner and Wizball. When I first saw the green bouncing head it put me in fits of giggles for literally minutes.

Goldrunner was a bit rubbish though, but I did like the music.
