I think it is possible, except those nibble copied disks.

But there is a reason they are not ADF. It is possibly that converting to ADF will stop them from working.

If you are using WinUAE there is a library you can add in the folder and it will load these transparently (I actually tried a couple earlier).

i have no experiences with Kryoflux and its software, but if i remember correctly, there is an option to output/convert in/to ADF format.

I don't know anything about that. All I know is in winUAE with a raw disk file in DF0 and an ADF in DF1: I could not duplicate DF0 to DF1. That was the extent of my efforts.

Just download the IPF Support Library version 5.1 from here & put the contents (CAPSImg.dll) into either the WinUAE directory or the WinUAE/Plugins directory.

thanks. the dll I have. but how to "mount" the folder with all the track*.raw files,
so it's recognised/mounted as a diskimage.
or does that work with single (full diskimage in one raw file) file only?

This software can do it: http://aminet.net/package/text/print/DiskLabelV1.9

Again, adding the library is easy enough.

There is more to just "converting raw to adf". If those disks could be ADF, they would be already ripped like the others.
The raw file contains very low level data that WILL NOT pass through to any convertion to ADF - so in a huge percentage (agreed, not 100%) the converted disks will not work.

I don't understand why you over-confuse yourselves with what to do with the raw files. The raw files are single packages like ADF, there is nothing special needed to mount them, except the library that supports them as mentioned above.

So i cant take in consideration both boxes for TOSEC inclusion.
Its too time consuming to mount each single raw in WinUAE and convert via cli!

Don't see why they can't be in TOSEC.
TOSEC does allow for separate folders for different formats.
There can be a [RAW] folder.

(which I think IS available for some other systems anyway)

if i download version 5.1 32bit, downloaded archive contains 64bit. is there only 64bit for version 5.1?
do i need winuae x64 for this to work? where can i quickly get .raw and .ipf file for testing purposes?
don't have torrent so i can't download this current 81 archive. i'm waiting for cleaned version anyway...

the question still remains
why no ADF dump instead of raw dump for the disks, which are not protected, too many read errors, because of dying disks?

The file contains the 32bit & the 64bit versions - the 32bit .dll is in the "capsimg_binary" directory, the 64 bit version is in the "capsimg_binary/x64" directory.

The kryoflux tools download file contains a couple of IPF files that you can test.
