Backported TF530 firmware.
https://github.com/terriblefire/terr..._11_3_beta.zip Verified working with a 4Mb GVP ZII card installed (A2000-HC+8) Both revisions working on the A2000 @ 50Mhz, 33Mhz and 25Mhz. Any issues let me know. Big thankyou to @Daedalus for popping round with the GVP. Last edited by plasmab; 03 November 2018 at 18:00. |

Does anyone know if there is a generic MMU version of MapROM? Unsure if i'm asking for the right thing.. basically I want to load a rom into RAM and run it. Extended rom preferably.

Whatever anyone uses with your board. For Xilinx i have the DLC9G and for Altera the USB Blaster II. Each manufacturer seems to need its own programmer.

i'm happy to report: TF520 finally works on A2000! (with latest firmware from 10.29)
tested in pair with my Zorroll 4MB card - RAM was detected correctly and works witout issues! TF520 gives not average speed, but there is small boost though - it can be compared with TurboCD expansion for CDTV, for example.. Im running TF520 with 32Mhz oscillator atm Last edited by 8 Bit Dreams; 03 November 2018 at 20:53. |

Just tried the backported TF530 firmware.
It fixes the Zorro issue for me, however it still maps the 1.5 MB slow-fast incorrectly so that ram still has to be limited to 1 MB. This is odd cause the TF534 does not have the same problem. The IDE interface seems a lot pickier though, it won't work with any cabled CF adapter for me now, only straight plug in adapters work. |

Nope I tried on 2 cards 36 & 50 Mhz. I even tried the ISSI ram just for the heck of it, this one needs to be definitely removed from the compatibility list. |

It sort of worked but not really. It would crash frontier within the first or second loop, and with this one it won't even make it to workbench, albeit memcheck reports no errors on it. It's usefulness really is moot at this point, I just bought some chips to experiment with but I'd say let's remove them from the wiki. They don't work. Fun fact: The external A1000 Microbotics ram expansion shows no errors at all with the TF530, but does show addressing errors with the TF534. Go figure. Either way I'd say you nailed the Z2 support, Stephen. EDIT: after playing with the 534 I forgot just how blazing fast the 530 is. Almost 20 mb/sec fast ram transfer rate and with a 3.1.4 rom and CPU FASTROM it feels like you're ruinning on a 68040. Last edited by alenppc; 03 November 2018 at 22:55. |

Here is a RAM CPLD firmware to try on the TF530.. it adds a waitstate for stability. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sdtfnb2nkm...m_top.jed?dl=0 It says r2 but it should also work on r3. Pinout is the same. |

Have tried to install TF520 into CDTV,
well, it starts, but booting from cd fails, with Jumper removed it acts as a normal A500 |
