With the sierra games, the Quest series never really grabbed me but I am thinking I should give some of the later ones a go. Quote:
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out on dosbox or my PPC mac. I never got around to playing any of the elite series, but did spend a looot of time with the escape velocity games on the mac. |

I've been on an assassin's creed kick lately - AC: Unity, AC: Origins, and now AC IV: Black Flag. All very enjoyable though the latest ones, including Origins and Odyssey are dumbed down somewhat compared to earlier entries in the series, but Origins is the most visually breath-taking game I ever played and exploring inside darkened Egyptian pyramids and the tombs of dead kings based on real ones was a blast.

I've been meaning to give the AC games another go but Assassin's Creed 3 really did a number on me. How to lose a fan in one game.

I'm currently getting right into Fuze 4 Nintendo Switch which is a basic programming language for the switch and is a lot of fun. Just playing around with sprites the other night and I ended up with something that isn't far off an Asteroids type game just from experimenting!
It's not out until tomorrow but I donated during the marketing campaign so got my download code early. https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nin...h-1626336.html And yes, I suppose I should disclose that I'm involved with the project but only from a community point of view, I'm not an employee or anything! |

When not playing Amiga or C64 games I play Pokémon TCGO or just from recently, Steambirds Alliance. It’s a shootemup MMOG for those who don’t know. I’m not sure it will catch me long-term but so far it’s fun

Yesterday being Australian Fathers day, my presents from my boys were GOG games
Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3. Xwing Battle Chess. Carmageddon Max Pack. So what am I playing? Yesterday we had a family network game of Carmageddon After the kids got bored, it was the wife who insisted we play another round LOL. She used to love this game as much as me. It's her who broke the steering wheel joystick we had for it back in the day. And then I tried to achieve fools mate against Battlechess without success lol. |

It's still a Bethesda game Although I must say that without mods both Skyrim and Fallout 4 never really crashed on me.

Running different mysteries in Surviving Mars. Quite interesting game, but getting DLCs for 100% completion is just out of question, just like with rest of Paradox games. |

Mouse + Keyboard... My Nephew says I need an Analogue Controller I have an old Venom Pad from my old PS3 + Twin USB adapter Going to try that later... Bought (39p) 'STRIFE Veteran Edition' on Steam It plays a bit quick/slippery - lol Oblivion last night --- enjoying it Although some quests prob... need higher SpeechCraft/Disposition IE the Stolen Painting + 'Fine Mad' Guard Captain. Not fair to blame me for the death of Rienna - She ran into a Trap. |

It took me a while to get into it but now I'm hooked on Civ 6. Once you get into the district mindset and let go of the Civ 5 way to play the game really shines as the best of the series so far. My head hurts because of all the late game options that you have...
