Downloading a 2.6k per second. 16 minutes remaining

Anyone else struggling to download this?

Mine failed and it says it will take 2 hours at 2k a second if I retry!

64bit JIT for 680x0? How can this be? I thought it would never happen...

Has the emulation speed improved by going to full 64-bit? Has anyone made any benchmarks?

Toni you da man!!!!

I benchmarked Blade Runner scene in Lightwave 4.0 in both 32bit and 64bit WinUAE 3200 and there is no any speed difference between.

Nope, no speed difference here - if anything, the 32bit exe is a little faster (by about 4 to 5%).

I only can think about contacting Majsta and helping developing the Vampire -mainly OS3.9 where they are working on or maybe the needed new Picasso driver- emulating real hardware.

Thanks for the update, you are legend.

JIT probably could be faster if it is updated to use newer more advanced x86 instructions, it was made when ~Pentium II/Pro was the best CPU...

I am not interested (at least not for free) in writing drivers for hardware that is not emulated. It makes debugging really slow and annoying. It is only waste of time for me.

Questions will be replied but doing something, it depends

Make sure to test 32-bit version before reporting if you notice any bugs or other weirdness. There can be 64-bit only bugs..

At long last, a proper 64bit version of WinUAE is finally here! No matter if it's still in its early stages and has a few bugs or speed issues, a huge door into the future has just been open. plus, it proves that - no matter how hard it seems at first - nothing is really "impossible". I've been around for long enough to witness a few "impossibles" become "possible". I still remember when UAE stood for "Unusable Amiga Emulator"... Look how far it has come since then. Who would have thought, when Bernd Schmidt typed the first lines of code, that UAE would be such the beautiful, complex and remarkably well-made piece of software that it is today? It stands, then, as a testament to human creativity, wit and resourcefulness. There really isn't much that a resolute mind and a little perseverance can't do. People like Toni Wilen deserve all the respect and praise that the community gives them. Thank you very much for everything. The Amiga scene simply wouldn't be the same without your generous (and genial) contributions. Cheers!
