Right then, got a bunch of screenshots without sprites and foreground bitplane, got to get rid of copper colours then recolour some tiles and arrange them to look pretty lol

This may not be pretty but it is all I could get from using gfxrip and screenshots, couldn`t be bothered to break pieces down into 32x32 blocks

Could you rip sprites from similar Amiga game Asmodeus?

Asmodeus doesn't need ripping. The files are either IFF files, or blitz shapes.. All easy to grab without the need of external tools!

Oh right, Agony was quite tricky to rip - all those rainbow effects hid true colors of the gfx behind it. Besides as far I know some tiles are put MORE THAN ONCE in single place. Maybe it is just the illusion and in reality it is separate tile prepared from two already existing pieces, maybe not. I'm quite bad at ripping tiles and I was always very impressed by small community who helps to rip gfx and maps here, thank you guys, you are great! BTW. long time ago I made small GBA demo for HEL showing Agony first level - back then I managed to rip some small part of first level of Agony- you can check this out here http://console-dev.de/?page_id=16

It looks like the GBA easily eats the Amiga's lunch for breakfast. Even though playing Agony is more of a shore than anything for me because of the horrible gameplay I must admit that the beautiful backgrounds and three layer parallax are still mystifying to this day. The demo is definitely a pleasure to watch and I still can't believe that on the Amiga they managed to blit a whole bitplane in dual playfield mode without hampering frame rate too much. |

Only ripping unique sprites from the levels as a lot of enemies are just re-coloured versions of the common gfx.
