I've updated the jumper settings here awhile back: :https://bigbookofamigahardware.com/b...t.aspx?id=1416
Make sure the card is level or the KEL connector may not seat properly. The card will poll the SCSI, so make sure the active termination is on or a hung polling can produce the behavior. Burst to motherboard should probably be off - few situations warrant it. Memory speed/type/clock might be the issue if they didn't send tested memory with the card. Same with 2k/4K refresh. I have a working card with 128MB on it, but not using the SCSI (currently not in the system - testing other gear at the moment). Start with 2 identical memory modules if you have to. I outlined the memory configuration differently than the manual on the A2040/A2060 page. Short version: Min 2 modules needed for burst, all need to be identical for burst. 4M/16M are single bank. 8M/32M are dual bank. Last edited by thebajaguy; 09 November 2022 at 12:59. |

Here is pics of my card's jumper settings, if it helps:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/dfnoa9hmel..._5561.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/2v1913cc2b..._5562.JPG?dl=0 chips on the SIMMS are VG2617406CJ -6, and they are 32MB modules. I'm running a 28MHz clock on the board. I recall mine is not happy with a 33MHz clock. I'm not sure of the 68060's rating with the heat sink on it blocking the detail. I know it's not a Rev 6.
