It plays really really well. Just a slow intro, I hope discworld performs like this on a 030.

Hey today is a great day, just got Audio working for the first time on ScummvmAGA and I'm listening to the Full Throttle intro on my virtual Amiga
Can't wait for DDNI to upload a video of it running on his 060. |

Ok,
I've uploaded an audio test to the zone. Can people with a real Amiga AGA machine try out the audio quality with some Scumm games (eg DOTT, full throttle). It uses AHI so you'll need to make sure your machine is properly setup AHI An 030 will probably have to disable the music and run in a lower frequency (Eg 22k) but an 060 should do better. I've only got WinUAE so I've no idea of the sound quality on the real thing. The graphics have been deliberately crippled for this release, just interested in testing the sound quality. Testing on going over here!
Sound is very scratchy in all AHI modes. Faster in the low quality mono modes though. More detailed PM sent to Novacoder. |

Yes, lots actually
And when it’s released, it won’t just allow you to play awesome PC VGA games like Full Throttle on your AGA machines but most of this lot using the latest version of ScummVM (v1.2.0). Progress report:
The first release will only support LucasArts games, more support will be added at a later date (well that’s the plan anyway). The first beta should be released in the next couple of weeks, if you can wait that long What are your machine specs BTW Retrofan? Last edited by NovaCoder; 19 November 2010 at 00:11. |
