SET040 is an optimized version of SETCPU, so use that instead if you donĀ“t have a 040

Akira, I didn't mention any games in particular because I tried it out with quite a few different ones to make sure it wasn't just a one off.

Not to worry though - I've got it to play ball now. I tried Konrad's suggestion and that did the trick. Thanks for that btw. I've got no idea why it wouldn't work the first time I tried it or when I tried referencing kickstart in the command line, but it works now so that's the main thing.

So far I've only tried running Toki using Tude. That worked flawlessly so I'm optimistic about getting the others working too.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Clearly a consequence of alcohol overdose.

Answering a 4-year-old thread (yes look it's from 2002) and then thinking he's the man. OMG.

Just read the whole thread to see if I could understand why kthulu wrote this reply... mr_0rga5m doesn't even mention anything about Donnie Darko

Very strange indeed

Looks like he was very drunk and posted his answer in the wrong forum. Find the right thread, Damien.

And the way it's written might suggest the IQ of a 4-year-old! What a "nice" way to start on EAB, a great first post!

Actually i prefer the version quoted in my sig., not that it has anything to do with some prat who's signed up to the board to post about in his/her/its 1st post.

Ps. I've posted a link there for you to follow because i'd hazard a guess the big word might confuse you. (I think definition #2 #3 and #4 would be yourself)

Please use latest winuae ROFL (1.4.1). The one you use is more than 2 years old !

and use an A500 quickstart config kick 1.3 as the game has an interruption
problem on A500+ and beyond.....

Do you really think that this much information will help us in helping you?!

What game?! Where did you get it from, ADF or IFP?

What settings? (KS, memory, chipset....etc.)

What is your OS and what are PC specs?

This for beginning is required...

He's talking about TwinWorld and on the red Ubi Soft screen you are meant to press the firebutton so in the winaue config check your game & i/o ports, and see what you've got selected for port 1.
