Thanks, Enverex.

By the way, due to this discussion, I tried to see if I can get the new joypad to show up in the 'Game Controllers' thing and I ended up making the other one, the very old gamepad, work with WinUAE. Turns out it wasn't configured properly, that's why it didn't work well in the first place.

It's a Gravis 4-button controller, so I guess Gravis works with WinUAE, too.

And it does appear in Control Panel > Game Controllers as "OK", right?

I have a Saitek P2500 and the controller won't work if the input tab controller is set to compatibility mode. It must be set to one of the configurations (and usually swapped so it shows "Joy2" instead of "Joy1" in the configuration panel lines).

Yeah, I know about those settings. I have to select 'PC Joystick 0' (or 1) in the 'Game Configurations' part, and then 'whatever-button gamepad' in the 'Input' part of WinUAE. I know that. But one of my 2 controllers shows up there (just like it shows up in the Windows Control Panel), but the other one (the better one, the newest one, and the one I use more often) doesn't.
And yet, other emulators, like MAME, or WinFellow, recognize it just fine.
I wonder why...

By the way, if I may ask, what's "CAPS"? Is it related to Amiga? Configurations? Because I always see "CAPS - Biggest update in history" at the top...
