Put the blank into DF1 it says its writing disk one. Then put a blank disk 2 and it says its writing that...

Reboot the Amiga put CM2 disk one (that it created) into DFO and just get the insert disk animation... I know you said it was buggy - is this what you meant?!!

No, but when I wrote the installer, it was presumed that a full format would also write a bootblock to the disk, and sometimes doesnt.

So what happens is the custom bootblock doesn't get written properly and doesnt boot the disk.

So if you make sure you do a full format on your new disk 1 and install a dos bootblock, it should then work.

Soon after I did the disk version I wrote a hard drive version because the game is unplayable from floppy.

It plays faster not having to wait 5 mkns to load or save a game, but fundamentally, it's a waste of time, but it's the same game playing speed.
