About Crazy Cars 3, the Amiga Power review of the floppy verqsion of Lamborghini American Challenge (the 2 player version of CC3) is enhanced when played on AGA machine ("graphics are greatly improved when playing on the 1200"). That wouldn't be impossible considering Quik the Thunder Rabbit is another Titus game and was published as a dual OCS/AGA release. But about Lamborghini I haven't seen any other reference to this except in the APower review... Does anyone have seen a difference ? |

Doesn't seem like using an AGA machine improves the graphics:
ECS AGA Got a graphics glitch on WinUAE with IPFs. Not sure if that happens on real hardware too. |

Lotus II is the only zero frame drops pixel pushing powerhouse on OCS, nothing else comes close to the amount/size of roadside objects updated every frame on that.
Everything else is below that, hence the thread. How did Shaun get arcade quality speed out of even an Amiga 1000. |

74% for 'a great racing game to own' always struck me as a good example of how hard-marking AP were compared to the other magazines. There are so many examples of their rivals writing mostly-critical comments but awarding higher scores than that. Never specifically played Lambourghini, but CC3 is a super game all-round, a lot more to it than Lotus 2 with the car upgrades and divisional progress, even if Lotus 2 has a better game engine overall.
