A last question : Does this mean that with the TF330 connected, the games which natively used Akiko (Microcosm, Wing Commander) have problems using it and can't be fixed (because no OS) or the problem only appears under Workbench and is fixed by Akiko Fix ? |

Only issue running that game is speed in that the audio and video run out of sync but I put that down to the faster processor screwing things up. I'm not using the Akiko fix with my TF330 and to be honest other than breaking the doom iso release I haven't seen any problems. Haven't tried Wing Commander if I'm honest. |

Wing Commander CD32 patched version runs better without akiko routine so it benefits from the 030
"problem" is not the right word, sorry, because all is working great or some minor issue with CD32 native games, and as you mention, surely due to Fastram and not akiko I just was wondering if with the TFF30 Akiko is off by default (even for CD32 native games but only Wing Commander use it in fact, i think ), and can be enabled by AkikoFix for OS Friendly apps ( Fusion, Doom) That's how i understand it but am i right ? |

However if you have an Akiko rev0, the hardware c2p won’t work anyway due to a bug in the chip: it simply won’t work with 030. This was solved on Akiko rev A. DoomAttack benefits greatly from the Akiko c2p function and when configured properly it will seem like the game is running on an 040. |

Does anyone have the TF536 firmware that allowed CD ROM access under CDTV? Long shot, but since author doesn't respond may as well ask here.

I have finally updated my TF536 to the latest never-released firmware version (Aug 2020). It looks like I have a few more TF cards to update..
TF328, v41 (existance of v42 mentioned) TF330, v2 (v3 linked earlier in the thread) TF530, unknown version, product id 1 and 129 @supaduper, do you have TF328 v42 to share ? |
