The exact same person designed the chipset for the Amiga, Atari 2600 and Atari 5200.

So that makes the Atari 5200 the closest console to the Amiga.

You're not, as FromWithin pointed out, and the developer system for the Lynx required an Amiga. The Lynx is a deceptively powerful little device and programming it is quite fun.

Yes, until the GBA arrived, it was far and away the slickest handheld. (I won't count the Nomad or TurboExpress).

How did the arrival of the Gameboy Advance make the Lynx less powerful or fun to program?

I simply cannot wash away the feeling that the Neo Geo has taken the best out of the Amiga CD32, arcade wise, even though mindful people often remind me how different both consoles' internals are.

It's fun indeed to notice the Megadrive catalogue share a few titles with the Amiga 500, most notably the eerie Feary Tale & Chuck Rock, but I guess it was more renowned for Sonic, and similar fast-paced simplistic games.

How about Haynor's X6800 and... FM-Towns?

Is GBA considered a console? A handheld one, but with pretty Amiga-like graphics, no?

Should be in the poll Even if it's quite close to the SNES, it has some nice 'extra' features.
