Alright. It's not officially official yet (the itch.io jam page is not yet 100% done and we're working on a press kit) but I can announce that there will be a Blitz Basic jam from June 1st to Sept 1st.
There are amazing prizes to be won. Trust me, you do -not- want to miss out on this 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be the result of the community ratings. There is also a panel of judges who are all veteran Amiga users and very active members of the Amiga community. They will each pick and rank their favorite games and the highest ranking game will win a very special prize. I will let you guys know more when it's officially official! |

Ooh, cool Longer than we were initially expecting, which is good for those of us with not a great deal of free time.
The Dungeon crawler jam looked impressive! |

Yes I figured that the two weeks I suggested initially would be way too short time. It's already very niche and I don't think the Blitz Basic community is big enough for such a restricted jam. With 3 months I hope many more will be able to participate. |

Thank you - I'm in and now have to work on an idea and think about time management. Can use the start date as a deadline for TR.

More prizes have been added to the pot for this game jam, including a PLIPBox Deluxe and boxed AmiWorx games. There's also a Discord server running with an active coding-help channel for helping people out with their Blitz issues.

The deadline for this game jam has been extended by two months, giving everyone time to polish (finish) their entries We now have until the end of October to submit our entries, or to enter late with new entries.
