This is a video recording of the behaviour I see.
Usual 800x600 D3D nullfilter fullscreen on an plain a500. What I do. While flickering is active I press F12 I then get a windows mouse pointer on a black fullscreen of 800x600 I click in the other secondary screen Windows comes up front I click on WinUAE A black square of 800x600 is brought forward with the WinUAE window in it. Then I just click around. Not in this test, but in another I managed to get the WinUAE up in the 800x600 black fullscreen. But exiting WinUAE config window brought me back to the other behaviour. And let me just right away apologize for the blurryness and out of focus in the video. But the HTC Hero camera suxx  [ Show youtube player ] |

Videos won't really help much.
Install latest WHQL driver from nvidia (I don't know what 8.16.. means, latest full driver package version seems to be 196.21) Redownload winuae.zip (make sure it says 30.01.2010) and retest and attach logs again. (more d3d related changes, uses now D3D9Ex if running on Vista/7) |

I'll see if I can thest the nvidia driver.
The XFXForce driver archive is versioned as 195.62, xfx force lists the 196.21 driver also on the download page for my card, but not for Win7 64 bit. Only 32bit and Vista + XP |

When I correct the aspect ration, it flickers on the "left over sidebars" on the side of the screen. black and white for each frame it says (white I assume becaues the kickstart 1.3 screen is white background) Fortunate that I don't have epilepsy, or I'd be out now EDIT: It will not flicker if I start out with aspect ration correcting, but if I change it runtime, it will start to flicker on the side of the screen. |

Great. Border flickering should be fixed in beta 7.
