Wow. I remember back in the day this was THE most desirable bit of kit there was, Amiga or otherwise. Great work!

Ok chaps nice update today
Got me cleaning stuff, this just sprays on and evaporates... Soooo cleaned underside all over... and top side removing simms... Replaced simms after cleaning them seperately (both 1mb each)... Put it back into it's casing and gave a once over with a sprayduster... Stuck lid on for photo... Just awaiting HDD now! Then should be ready to rock an ala roll Last edited by Paul_s; 11 June 2009 at 19:27. |

Just attached A530 to my 500 and everything works great! Obviously can't boot from it as there is no HDD inside but powers up fine and the fan works too! |

Damn, I gotta pimp my A530 too
I've replaced the no MMU '030 inside it with a golden full 68030 but I have to confess my PCB is dustly like hell and the fan is too damn noisy |

I would be happy with just a cheap Amiga A590 for my A500, the GVP 530 is just way to pricey here in the US.
Out of curiosity what good is an 030 in an Amiga 500 with only 2MB of extra RAM? |
