I bought an HP one that is 50ma, my previous dell one that became unresponsive after a while is 75ma, so maybe that was the problem - too much power draw

I have the same problem: Kipper's riser, TF360 and locked keyboard problem. Mine is Labtec Standard Keyboard Plus, it draws 50 mA and still locks. I think, the only solution is to remove PIC and then connect A3000/4000 keyboard.

The kipper2k riser is ridiculous picky with keyboard. I had a painful time fiddling with this .. not even the original IMB PS/2 keyboard is compatible which it should be since it and the IBM PS2 Computer set the PS/2 standard in 1987

There are thankfully products on the market this year that help avoid fighting with the Kipper2k riser and old PS/2 keyboards, all modern USB HID solutions so will probably handle nearly all the keyboards you throw at them. Sordan Imperator CD32 Amiga Riser £68.28 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276394904661 SUM A1000/2000/4000 - USB Keyboard adapter € 52,95 https://www.amiga-shop.net/en/Amiga-...iga::1157.html Amiga CD32 A4000 USB Keyboard Adapter True USB HID (Currently sold out) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134929207370 |

I don’t think Sordan’s price is that unreasonable to be fair, I noticed a builder of TF products successfully sold a Terriblefire USB Riser last week for 150€, now I thought that was quite steep. Edu Arana also made a final edition Hefesto USB Riser in recent months for 45,00€, but he notoriously only does very small production runs, his products sometimes don’t return for months, and sometimes not at all. https://www.arananet.net/pedidos/pro...-hefesto-light |
