Good evening!!
I want to give you bad news, my Football World Cup project has been canceled today, after finishing my working day. The reasons are lack of interest, and the spirit is on the ground. You can download the game from my itchio account for free, it is not finished but you will see how far I have come. I have also made a small explanatory video on my YouTube channel. Thank you all for listening to me, I wish I had time, but sometimes life doesn't let you. All the best!!

Sad to hear about this project being cancelled. I hope things will get better and you will approach it again in the future!

I might be a bit a PITA but i just seen two screenshots of the game, no videos of the game in action so far, and was eager to seen one;

my personal suggestion is that if you want a decent performance from a base Amiga you should use medium resolution (640x200 or 640x256) at 8 or 16 colors (players might look a bit 'stretched' vertically due to the double vertical pixel so some redrawing might be needed) and a fixed screen;

lack of interest in my opinion may be due to not seeing the game growing; post more updates and interest will be there - as well as suggestions and, unfortunately, criticism; but the last one comes with the package so take it with a boulder size grain of salt ^^

Hello friends !!

After our last meeting, I was programming how the player was going to take the shot, in the end I succeeded, it depends on the force with which you shoot, the ball will go low, or will make a parable. Soon you will see 2 videos on my website that prove it. At this point in the game I have decided to keep the Amiga for quite some time, and evolve by finally learning Java. I have restored my raspberry pi 1 with "look" ZX81, I have installed the distro linux raspup, or puppy linux in ARM, and I have put Java version 8, to learn it is fine for me. Regarding the Amiga, if I started to create FWC again, I would do it in a lower resolution, 320x256 32 colors or 64 colors, because the one that I use 640x512 256 colors, gives me performance problems with the Amos professional AGA. I use Bobs to paint the players, the ball, and double buffer, and the truth is that the blitter does not give enough power, therefore there is minimal flickering. When they all start to move I'm scared, and the game will be unplayable. If in the emulator we put immediate blitter, then the flickering disappears a bit. Everything in an Amiga 1200 at 14 Mhz. Well I said, with time I will think if I continue the game, or leave it as a programming test, in which I made a mistake in the screen mode. My intention now is to learn Java, which I am many years behind. Greetings to all!

Why not try the lower resolution version- 320x256 + 32 colours is fine.
It's all a learning experience- but making amiga games is fun! I am doing art for one too- man I love pixel art
