No offence intended M8 but you haven't exactly inspired anyone to buy this lot with comments like :-
"I can post if its worth my while, not excited to sell 1 game for a tenner if it costs me a fiver to post, would prefer to sell a whole load of stuff in 1 go and preferably for collection but happy to hear offers..." You have a nice little collection there but seriously anyone could probably get the majority of these from a car boot sale for less than £100 and more than likely even less than £50. There are plenty of mugs on fleabay who would maybe consider paying more for these but if you really want to sell them here then at least give a clue as to what you are willing to accept and barter from that point. Asking folk to make an offer without knowing the expected amount/range is like slapping someone in the face with a wet cod when their offer is rejected, no one here is likely to want to look like a fool over guessing the price of a few games and a little hardware ![]() Hi there Zetr0 you got there before me ![]() |

I will say thought that a lot of members from the community prefer to deal outside of eBay, on top of which eBay has costs... if not with insertion fees or final valuation fees theres the doulbe whammy of pay-pal's 4% charge. which is criminal - extortionate charge in this day and age.

That is the reason why there is a preference to trade outside of eBay but people are still going to want to know how much is expected as we both point out. We may all pay over the odds for stuff now and then if an item is in demand or is hard to find, realistically though there is nothing that fits the bill here although it is a nice large-ish collection, most of it is probably easy to find if you don't already have an original copy and then there is WHDLoad where everything is free and no swapping disks is involved (My favourite) ![]() Back on track though, a sensible price to haggle from is what is needed, remember that most folk already own a 1200 and have or have access to 99% of the games in ADF or WHDLoad format if they need them (a lot easier to store too) but some folk do prefer to use floppy disks now and then for the authentic retro session as it was back then. |

sorry i just wanted to guage how much they were going for, having so far only seen a few websites selling retro games, and for much higher prices than the 2 offers I had. I figures I could get the equivalent of £5-10 each to some hardcore collectors. I understand everyone has ADH now, even I got into it in the last week, wow Frontiere on a A4000 is so much better than on my A1200 juddery graphics! But I figured these were collection pieces now that people bought as an investment. In 10 years I'm sure these games will be worth much more than they are now. And in 50 years probably the owner can exchange them for small nuclear devices and still have enough change left over to buy a tropical island near the north pole in the confederated states of new greenland.
Any offers will be seriously considered and will make decision within 10 days or so what to do... thanks. A sensible price for the 36 boxed games + if I can find the box for the big collection... maybe £199. Haggle me baby. I love it. |

As I can no longer collect this due to timings, I think I'll comment. If you are seriously looking for £5-10 per game then I doubt you will find that here. Declaring that you want to get £5-10 per game is probably going to switch people off instantly as I see many games not sell even on ebay for half that price.
If you can find a box and are prepared to post, you may have better luck on Ebay; however I was looking to collect an A1200 on ebay with a lot more stuff goliath power supply etc, with pictures and in excellent condition for around the £130 mark. Another bundle including an accelerator but less games again around £130. Look at completed listings on ebay, sold threads on here or amibay, then set your price. I wish you every success with this nice collection. Splitting it will get you a higher price in the end. |

I guess the small nuclear device is a smoke alarm, and the tropical island is a grain of sand. |

I would still be interested in the few games i mentioned if you decide to split and am willing to pay a fair price for them if boxed
