Would take be any useful? You have num keys already. The really missing one being PrintScr, I did map it to F12. It was a bit complicated since on an actual keyboard you have to activate numlock to get it. It the '-' key if I remember well, so I had to let numlock virtually activated in the code even if it does not exist on Amiga keyboard because the AmiKey 600 requires it. Also Help is mapped to the home key, I used F11 -> Home to get Help. But AmiKey is a bit buggy, I did try to contact Sordan without success, because key <> does not work, while it works when I plug the keyboard to a PC.

Would that be any use?
It would be to ordinary A600 users.

Did'nt they aready do something simular.
I remember for my 13th birthday getting Shuttle. I remember thinking, crap I need a keypad. In the manual it tells you key combo's for numeric pad functions. Still never finished hubble telescope mission though. Could never line up repair module, lol.

I don't think so otherwise there wouldn't have been such an uproar at the time.

I think that was a work-around built into the game rather than the HW.

I know that, but games devs could have released updated versions and made more money.

nice work! take it out for a demo and people will think there's a RasPi in it.

You'll have to open it to prove them wrong

No worries, FR is still the "by default" language in diplomacy

Nice stuff!
Does it use integer upscaling on the screen for even pixels?

Yes integer upscaling. The ipad screen is so detailed that the picture is very beautiful.

Nice build! Also wanted to add that the CD32 has a keyboard connector compatible with keyboards with the same connector as the A4000. It is however called the AUX port on the CD32, probably because it also has additional pins for the TTL level serial port pins from Paula.

Best trolling would be... you open the case, and inside you see bunch of cables, and A600 motherboard, but bellow that is hidden Raspi that actually runs the system.

I'm going to be hated for this post but..

What a waste of money and time.. I dont seem to have a EURO key on this new keyboard..
but 700.. dont know what that is in £.. and yes i had a A600 BRAND NEW £230 back in the day.. came with 3 games..
I also had a A1200 bought for £50 back in the day 2nd hand..
But still.. all that effort put into making that.. 3hrs battery life.. 2.3kg.. OUCH..
so basically 5 bags of sugar. 500g each..or 2 and 1.2 at 1kg..
Looking at the picture i dont see any cd/dvd drive.. so guessing USB?...
if you wanted add files..
all those issues to fix.. unknown problems..

A fool and their money are soon parted..

And i've stopped being a fool.. hence the reason i GAVE my A600 away for free. as i stopped using it.

Well done though for finishing it.. fixing the issues, problems you found workarounds for..

A bit harsh andy, €700 now is about equal to £230 in 1992, and you're getting a much faster processor and far far more memory. All the modern methods of getting files across are supported, mostly using devices which only cost a few pounds (and maybe you can plug a USB CD-ROM drive in if you already have one?). Power Banks can potentially massively increase the potential running time without mains power as well. Obviously it's a luxury novelty item, but a lot of us do have savings to treat ourselves with for things like this. What it does prove, though, is that an Amiga laptop of any kind of practicality and affordability was not feasible using 1992 technology.

We don't use anymore DVD/CD now. But i can plug a PCMCIA one maybe.
For the 700€ I did spend to make it is not for the Amiga 600 motherboard nor the Furia that was given to me for free, but the cost of many parts I did buy to make it including the ones I did not use at the end.

Absolutly great stuff.

Time and money don't count for retrocomputing fun anyway.

I have a suggestion for an improvement : integrate a Powershark so you can power the computer from USB C including from a powerbank, and maybe remove heavy battery and heavy laptop PSU.

Laptop is not so heavy : 2.3 kg and includes 3H of life time. The PSU is also not that big or heavy, it's just a 16.8V, 2.8A.
