Okay, I used WB 3.1 now and it works with 60/60 fps.
I set emulation speed to fast and get 100% of speed. Strange. But sometimes it "gets a kick" and runs faster for half a second or so. I tried to change V.Lines settings but it seems to have no effect. We need a programmer who can add a "force 60fps speed" option. What do you think? |

yeah. there is a bit on amiga.org where someone says that there should be an extra line in the program listing (he says it runs twice the speed or something). i dunno who can do this though, half the comments are in spanish lol i will try the emu out again myself later. i couldn't seem to disable the ram on my csmk3 for some reason.

Do you think a WHDload slave For AmiMasterGear or AmiGameBoy could make it more stable?

Mhh...might be.
Is the WHDload slave able to emulate e.g. an Amiga with 030/50mhz? This is the given config for 100% emulation speed. |

Or maybe... just maybe... you could run another emulator on your PC??
No-one has just an Amiga as their main system, emulating on the Amiga seems slightly less than pointless these days. As do Amiga ports of games that are available on other formats (Doom, Quake etc.) |

Well alexh, AmiMasterGear is a fantastic piece of software.
I think it´s a great feeling to play Sonic on an Amiga instead of using just another emulator on a boring PC. |

i agree with viddi, far more entertaining than emulating on a pc. i think whd'ing this thing is impossible. the amiemulators "bangs" the hardware. so amimastergear and amimsx is impossible under whd i think.

I think you're forgetting that it's the GAME that is the important bit, not the how where and why you play it. If the PC emulator is a more faithful representation of the real thing (which it will be) and is easier to use (which it will be) then you should use that. Same goes for Arcade conversions... why today play the Amiga port (or any home computer platform port) of an arcade game when you can play the real think in MaMe or other such arcade emulator? (Exclude ports with special levels etc. not in the original) If half the fun for you is the actual "emulation" rather than the games (and you're not emulator programmers) then you are sad gits ![]() Last edited by alexh; 01 April 2007 at 23:06. |
