it never worked before with the cd32 versio it's the first time.

is it really a fix when you have to change/rebuild the original game instead of finding out what causes the incompatability in the emulation ?

hi all

i sort of got lotus 3 to work on my a4000 ks3.1 config. i was having the same crash problems mentioned here so i ticked 'cycle-exact' option and now the game loads. but it still ends up crashing during the first level soon after u come out of the tunnel the screen goes all different colours and reboots

i dig this old thread because :
there still one lotus trilogy problem with winuae (i tried with 2.4.1 and 2.7).
launch lotus esprit turbo challenge (the first one)...wait...take a coffee...
When the game is launched just let the menu like it is and push the pad button, finish the first race... in the second race the bugs begin, wrong colors, flashes...
That's it ! i tried with quickstart best compatibility cd32 and near all configs possibles but still have graphic bugs.
Toni, when you'll have the time take a look in your crystal ball please.

OK I FOUND A TURN AROUND SOLUTION? WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN THE MENU TO SELECT WHICH LOTUS YOU WILL PLAY? CHANGE THE CPU FROM 68020 TO 68000 THEN LAUNCH LOTUS 1 888
iT WORKS LIKE A CHARM? CERTAINLY A CD32 INSIDE 68000 EMULATION.

the other way to make it work : (the best way)

set everything like a cdtv set 2 mb of chip ram change the chipset to cd32, make a hd with all the files from the cd inside -> edit the s/startup-sequence in the created hd and put a ";" just before alotusloader.(because alotusloader crash the config)Don't forget to mount the iso in winuae.
Here you are, i think this is the only way to make it work.
and from what i see if you have a cdtv with 2 mega chip, it shout run if you make the cd bootable for the cdtv and add the ";" in the startup-sequence.

!!!!!!!!!!!!FINALLY AFTER A LONG TRY AND FAIL, LOTUS TRILOGY CD32 WORKS PERFECTLY !!!!!
