Strange looking game..

StingRay: I know you're constantly bombarded with slave requests, but any chance you'd be willing to have a look at doing the slaves for Street Rod 1 & 2 (cracked) at some stage? The originals simply can't be found anywhere, and these are surely among the very best car games on Amiga.

There was some generic slaves going around, but they don't work on the newer WHDLoad versions.

Yes, I finally have! I just got the game running (problem was that it detaches itself from CLI which I had to patch) and will just add some trainer stuff, then the patch is finished. It shouldn't take long anymore.

No problem, sorry that you had to wait so long. But I have good news, I have finished the patch and just sent it to Wepl. Which means it should appear on the WHDLoad site soon!

If it's for installing the WHD slave you can use the TOSEC adf image (or just download the preinstalled game from ftp ).

Sorry, I've found a bug:

Exception "Illegal Instruction" ($10) at $13c3a occured.

It happens usually when the large white dog (I don't remember its name in the comics), having been hit once, it hangs on the platform it was: after a couple of seconds, before it jumps up again, the game exits, with that error code.

I 'm not able to go that far in the game without cheats, so I can't try if it happens too in the disk versions.

Yesterday I noticed the error too, sadly it also happens with NOCACHE and other options too.I do not know if that's only a 040 CPU problem. I wanted to write a bug report but it will not probably be necessary...

@ Denis: Is the DIC image of Lupo needed? or did you find a another solution? Sorry, I was not online the last 5 days ....

I can't reproduce this, been playing for about half an hour and no crash occured. When does the dog appear (which level)? Anyway, you may try attached slave, does it still crash?
