Wow, just read about the coolest feature - audio commentary. There will be voice-overs from Halcyon, Future Crew, Acme, Statix/Pulse, COMA, and Moppi. Will be cool to hear the guys from Future Crew talking about Second Reality. This is just one more reason to get this dvd.

Lapsuus

Lapsuus runs great under WinUAE RTG with JIT. Atleast on my 1.2@1.4Ghz T-bird, it's probably equal to an '060.

I love JIT!

Would be SHITE if they talk while the demo is playing!

It's bonus akira, you will be able to choose the demo soundtrack OR audio commentary from the artirts. (like on normal DVD )
(ex: this scene was very hard to code coz...)

As long as it is an option, it's ok. I still find it pretty useless

If I want to know the techno rhubarb behind the demo's coding, I read the scrolltexts

Akira:

Audio commentaries are common on DVD movies. You can select a commentary track with the director, actor or whatever talks during the movie and tells how this and that was made. People have different opinions on them, as I am a moviebuff I love it

Regarding Lapsuus. Maturefurk who made the demo is made up of people employed by Madonion, so these are the people who also made the famous 3DMark benchmark for Windows PCs! They all come from old demogroups on PC and I think Amiga as well.

see this *two* year old topic (or use the search function of the board more often)
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3

btw, the fr-08 is not the best, fr-19 is quite better from one technical point of view (always for 64ko)
