Also created the MUI Gadgets, one is missing the one you see in the screenshot, does anyone know what this Gadget is called (folder name) and if VisualPrefs manages it, thank you !

Found, the 'MUI Public Screen' gadget on OS4 exists and works well, the folder containing the image is called 'Screens', but on OS3 it is not recognised VisualPrefs does not support it.

yeah i think it only supports the basic/main mui gadget, the gadget that has the dropdown for snapshotting/etc and not the many extra stuff you could have.

Hello!

Trying to give an OS 1.3 look to my WB 3.2.2.1 (real A1200/030 on a PAL monitor)

This is my result for the moment (see attachment), nothing used except WB prefs and Newicons files.

So, if I want to go further in the subject, I've to install Visualprefs and Birdie (only for title stripes in the bar)?

For Visualprefs, this is the recommandation?

Same for VisualPrefs, its .prefs file is included but you will need to manually pick the bitmap images again to wherever you put them.

Is it the latest version ? I'd like to use it mainly for learning purpose with VisualPrefs

Thanks a lot for your advices!

Birdie is just used to apply an image to the window borders, so yes it's only for the stripes in this case. If you can live without the stripes and just have plain white windows, you don't need it.
VisualPrefs is define the overall look of the windows and gadgets.

Thanks for your reply.

I've a quick look at Birdie yesterday evening and saw that image is applied to the whole window, not only the upper border.

Another tool to use for this purpose is AfaOS but If I've understood, it doesn't work with WB 3.2

I'll try Visualprefs in a first time

True, as far as I know, the image needs to be a certain size if you want to achieve a look like the 1.3 stripes. I guess it requires a bit of work to find the correct size but then it might just look good on your screen.
I never used Birdie for skinning windows and actually removed it entirely recently because it icon functions stopped working for me. But I surely like VisualPrefs.
