I don't get it. I won every single race (32x6000 = 192 000). I tried to collect as many "P" pickups and flying green notes as it is possible (still I left some on the road) and still I am way behind the best in the round. Maybe there is something wrong with my version of the game? Or maybe the car is important (I use Sports Car - the black one that looks like Porsche).

I calculated that I managed to collect 105 "P" pickups and notes. Considering that there are 32 tracks it gives the average number of them in the amount of 3. Bearing in mind that some levels are very generous in pickups while some others are not and that the flying notes are rather rare, I can't figure out how to pass 300k boundary.

^ Well, you had really bad luck with the draw. Mipe and jPV seem unbeatable at this game.

Are the flying green notes not credits rather than points? Or am I mistaken?

I was under the impression the flying notes give out cash (money).

Yes, the bank note is useful only for the shop.
The P bonus is the most important thing to make a good score.
So the key is simple, you must learn their placement for all tracks...

Yes, my mistake. So it makes my equation even more complicated and more food for thought.

Some of the Ps are hard to find. I really have trouble finding them on the night levels, I have a hard enough time seeing where I am going and winning let alone looking for Ps on them.

There's no time to looking for them, especially when your car is not upgraded. Former levels are not a problem to practice since you can easily start everything over again but you can't so easily practice the latter.

Anyway, I might give it another go but a draw in the round was disastrous for me

Surely you can do better than that? Remember you don't have to finish in first place on all the races, just make sure you have enough gas to finish each race - for my best score so far I won the first few races and was able to keep my gas around the 4,000 mark for the rest of the game, just spending money on repairs and gas once I had my stats with:

Accel =2
Traction =2
Speed=1

BTW, I find the sports car the best.

With plenty of gas I could go out of my way to grab some of the P's, on one level there is a group of 5 or 6 together right next to the track route!

Just glad I'm not in group D, I don't think I can get close to a 300,000 score.

Lonewolf10

Group D is very much the Group of Death this year (that's what the D stands for it seems). I feel sorry for mailman as he'd be top of Groups B and C with his score.

Rats! I thought I was going to be top of my group (for a while), but john4p has already set a new best score

Just got 298k, but the score is invalid because I clicked the mousebutton by mistake before the 31st race causing another human player to be activated...
