You could also try with X-Copy Pro, but I don't know if it can do it. Quote:

Thank you! If you never said that I never would have tried.
It took some time to work out the method but now I have a perfectly working disk playing on my A600. Method I used was as follows: 1. In UAE, mount powercopy in DF0:, Zoom IPF in DF1. 2. Add DH0: to be linked to a folder on your PC Hard Drive. 3. Run UAE and select target DEV: in powercopy to be DH0:, Source to be DF1: 4. Start the copy (didn't change any read options.) Wait a long time. 5. Take the folder of files it creates on your PC HDD and transfer to CF on real Amiga. 6. Load Powercopy on real Amiga. Choose source DEV: to be the folder you just copied across, target dev to DF0: 7. Start the copy (still no options changed.) Voila, a working copy of Zoom!. No cracks needed. ![]() And for those who want to skip steps 1 to 4. I have Zoom! in Powercopy format on my webspace. (I hope I am not breaking any rules as this is no longer an IPF image.) http://zaphod.hacked.jp:60000/eab/zo...opy-format.zip Last edited by john1979; 02 April 2015 at 23:03. |

Check out the zone for a beta islave to be used with Rawdic.
Would be interested to know if it will image the game disk properly. To get Rawdic to read the disk, Rawdic slave=zoom.islave Any claim on not needing a cracked version is probably premature, I'm guessing that its processor timed loader prevents loading on A1200+ ![]() In the zone if someone can check or just email me the IPF that would be even more super ![]() |

So am I to assume there is no working NTSC version crack of this game?
Lots of encryption at the start of the game, but nothing exciting beyond that. |

I am going to check what is my original version. I have it in the same cardbox format than Arkanoid, Sword of sodan, etc... This box seems not to be registered on the Zoom! HOL page (?). I don't know if it is the PAL or NTSC version.
EDIT : Here are the pictures, i will test it if necessary. Last edited by Vollldo; 16 April 2015 at 12:01. |

I am wondering if the code on the PAL and NTSC disks are identical.
The version I got working seems happy in either mode. |

Some NTSC versions of Ami games are hardwired while others are not, if you understand what I'm getting at. The U.S. releases of Zoom probably don't act like they're tied to NTSC hardware. |

Aren't there any diskcopiers with parameters available that are able to copy and crack this disk so we can image it?
