That would be awesome StingRay and Zetr0! Have a look and see what you think. I have no clue how this was coded - well structured or not. It was done in both C(++) and assembler.
( I hope these are the right files. :P )

I'm gonna have a look at it during the weekend and will give feedback then. I'm not really a fan of C/C++ on Amiga though but I will see.

Is there a good and free DirectX-based shoot'em-up game engine available? I might redo the game for Windows then.

Why not?

Anyway, it would be good to make identical pc and amiga versions (should this occur).
Olandrobo, you told me the pc demo had some kind of a super weapon, it would be good to include it also in the amiga version.

I think he meant the satellite that follows the ship, which is only included in the PC demo, not in the Amiga demo.

If it was pure ASM, I'd be interested in helping, but not with C/C+ elements, no thanks.

No, there's not a super weapon. There's about 30 different extraweapons with different powerlevels each plus a bunch of different ships to control. I can post some of the gfx here soon.
As I mentioned before, we have a lot of graphics and songs done for this game.

Some gfx uploaded to the zone, mostly for inspiration and to see samples of what's there, since the file is way unorganized.

Nice. Very nice.

I was very surprised at how good they look. I'd love to see this project up and running again.

Since no one answered, I'll use DarkBasic. Already got the scrolling background of level 1 running, as well as the status bar. Now we just need all the graphic files and the design docs with the level layouts.

Allright, things are moving along a bit faster than I expected. I have to look into the graphics issue to compile and describe.

What is the best way to hand over tha gfx? File formats, layout of sprites, description etc?
