I love this game, but I usually suck at playing it. Most of the time I struggle to get anywhere, but occasionally I get into the zone. Then I find it easier to play at higher speeds than normal, and getting a black belt is easy. Too bad it only happens once every 3-4 years, and even more seldom since I had to throw away my TAC-2.

I usually skip the bonus games by knocking down the player and still have little trouble getting the black belt. Guess i've practiced a little in my youth . The bonus game score leeching is for pussies!

IK+ music
IK+, memories of hours and hours non stop playing. Love the details and varied litte effects in the background. And the music... very long tune and gets better after a few minutes. I put the music in a synthesizer tutorial...if you're interested check here:

Yep me likey very much.
Cannot fault the game with anything,Music, sound effects, graphics and playability solo or multiplayer - faultless. If I had a massive tv I could watch that sun reflecting on the ocean and meditate in my own living room. |

Have to agree with you all. IK+ is excellent and was about the only beat em up I had played intensely on the humble Amiga back in the day. I remember thinking, "this is one game that deserves a sequel!". Of course, that never happened.

Excellent game, too bad I wasn't very good at it - I only reached black-belt when using savestates on WinUAE

I haven't played this for years but I remember it was one of the greatest 8 bit games I have played especially on multi player and it was even better on the Amiga.
My specialist move was to head butt my way across the screen you can't block it. I'm going to have to start playing this one again by the sounds of it, it has stood the test of time. Last edited by Rob 1; 18 July 2014 at 13:56. Reason: typo |

Personally, my favorite karate/kung fu/martial arts game was "Way of the Exploding Fist" on the C64.
