My first A1000 (9/1986) lacked EHB mode but in December my dealer said he could sell me the upgraded chip for $35. My second A1000 had it.

I don't have the A1000, but have held onto a lot of chips from a lot of machines over time.
I don't think I'll get an A1000 if I get another one, it would likely be an A500.
But only because it loads Kick from a ROM. Otherwise, the rest of the A1000 is nicer

I dunno, do you really want to send them all the way over here? Otherwise I am happy with the way things are. There's gotta be someone closer to you who could use them.

It could be years... It may turn out someone really wants them.
Yes, I will send OS, but I think better if someone really wants them.
