I didn't know Toki worked on unexpanded A500 with only 512kb of Ram.
That makes it even more impressive. Anyone succeed to finish it with 1 credit? |

New Zealand Story is the same as the Arcade if you don't compare directly. I think it's the best arcade conversion.
Rainbow Islands is missing all those extra hidden islands which you need to finish to get the true ending |

That's stunning work mcgeezer.
![]() Edit: btw, we could ask Steril707 to make Inviyya arcade version, and to make it less rich. That way, we could have another "better then arcade" game for Amiga. ![]() |

It was good for its time, but now that I've played more of the arcade, I don't enjoy the Amiga conversion any more. |

I remember exploring the levels as a kid and wondering how to get to many places that seem to be accessible, but aren't.. Well, they're the destinations for missing warps. :-) |

not only that: most of the arcade tricks work on amiga too, down to placement of special bonuses and armors and even the infamous zombie corridor!

Arkanoid was definitely the first arcade conversion where I though "wow! this is almost perfect"
Ghosts & Goblins was probably the 2nd time I don't think there were that many others that were to be honest.. there were some "good" conversions, but not many that were spot on |

Marble madness was pretty good, though it could be my memory playing tricks on me.

Marble madness was an awesome port of the arcade (probably using arcade assets for graphics AND code too) done in 1986 under Electronic Arts label. Only the music was really feeble compared to the arcade (sometimes it's the other way round), and I wonder if the amiga is able to perform the same music as the arcade anyway. A challenge for J.M.D / Saimon69 or DJMetune ?
![]() Then things went downhill with Tiertex ports... |

Marble Madness - love it so much, plus considering it's age it's an even bigger stand out
Pac-Mania is also a stand out Elite's Buggy Boy, Commando and Ghost n Goblin's ports were decent (unlike Paperboy) Arkanoid, Rodland, Op Thunderbolt and I have to admit it, I even liked Sly Spy! |

MarbleMadness! really loves to be run in NTSC mode, it is a much smoother experience compared to PAL. |
