Played it a lot with friends back in the 90s, but I haven't touched it since. It's quite addictive though (when you have a human opponent that is).

not amiga related..
Jimmy White snooker got it sitting in a box.. anyway the not related part.. Cue Club 2 portable for the pc.. https://www.upload.ee/files/14373443...nooker.7z.html tested and working.. use the portable.exe files.. 64 for 64bit system and the other for 86.. if you see "Failed to initialise XAudio2. Cue Club 2 will start without sound" you'll need to download the directx end user runtimes.. Great simulation for the time, I think.
I do own the original boxed game; near-mint condition. :-) |

I actually never played Jimmy White, I used to play Archer Maclean's Pool a lot though.

I think it's the only game I ever owned where the original disk eventually corrupted (from saving highscores onto it - pretty sure you couldn't save them to a separate blank disk) which suggests that I played it a lot. Majestic stuff, although proper multi-frame matches and tournaments would have perfected it. I even bought Cueball for the PC (which was effectively a sequel to his Pool game too, as it had both pool and snooker)

It probably was back in the early 90s, along with SWOS. These days I hardly ever play it. It was one of the best-playing 3D games back then, but I tend to favour more arcadey titles these days.

Nope. Tended to play SWIV and Lotus Turbo 2. Odd game of lemmings, settlers, Monkey Island 1 & 2. Oh and Pinball Dreams, Fantasies and illusions.
