it should replace the existing one. this way it will find "Fonts/DejaVuSans.ttf" - give it a try. Last edited by emufan; 22 November 2016 at 18:11. |

What version can I test?
One for WB3.5/3.9 says that it is for those only, then version for OS4 says that it is only for OS4. I have Kickstart 40.68 and Workbench 40.42, but I took whole filesystem as image from my old Amiga 3K - and I had 3.5 installed on it with all updates. Edit: Seems that I need to find a way to use my original kickstart file but WinUae is not accepting it, so I had to use older .. that might be the problem. a very, very annoying bug when browsing aminet: there is an error repeadedly popping up, preventing me from closing netsurf.
or doing anything with netsurf as its unusable while error is active. once i close error and move mouse cursor it pops up again. had to reboot in order to get back control again. error message attached, occurred after opening readme of a file on aminet. |

Downloaded netsurf from first post. And seems doesnt work.
Any problem with the main theme?? Or its FPU version? (I test with an A600+vampireV2, so no FPU) check the video: [ Show youtube player ] EDIT: Ok, seems the good version for vampire is this one: http://aminet.net/comm/www/netsurf-m68k.lha Now it works but I cant select the resolution. It is right? Last edited by Estrayk; 27 January 2017 at 17:47. |

There is a "new" version, it has been released some time ago. Lost of GUI related bugs has been fixed.
http://cy2.uk/netsurfos3 This is for a AOS3.5/9 32mb ram. Requires render and guigfx libraries from aminet. |

Thank you very much, but it is getting more and more complicated to follow the development.

Practically yes, but that is not whole picture.
Netsurf doesn't require FPU, but guigfx / render libraries does. There is no fpu versions of those libraries on aminet, but they don't seems to work with Vampire. |

Hi,
I confess having read this thread and the readme from the Aminet version of Netsuref ( http://de4.aminet.net/comm/www/netsurf-m68k.readme ) I am very confused as to its requirements. This thread is saying OS3.5 or greater, the aminet readme is saying 3.0 or greater I can only find an 060 no fpu version of render.library but there is an assember version of it, that doesn't mention an FPU (its here - http://aminet.net/search?query=render&start=400 ) and is marked renderlib31.lha It looks like it has 68020,68040 and 68060 versions - just my luck I have a 68030 ![]() So long story short can I run this app in a 68030 @ 40mhz amiga without a FPU with 128mb ram and OS 3.0/3.1? There is a Vampire version, and they don't have fpus would that work? OK it's be slow but would it work? |
