I don`t quite understand what you mean about "later in the game".
Sorry for making myself not clearer. I meant that it only happens after some time you play the game. I tried it myself and 'Lacer' doesn't change anything. Tried several settings, but like Toni said there are still artifacts when you move the mouse.

@davideo
Nope

Oh well - I wasn't sure if it would help or not. Seemed worthwhile trying.

I've just loaded it through ClassicWB_FULL. The version I tried is Hires or Lores. I wonder if it's Hires flicker rather than AGA Interlace?

I would also say that it's a HiRes issue. I just tested it with the 'Full ECS' chipset and it's the same. But interlace is used for HiRes as far as I know and has nothing to do with AGA. A-Train is ECS only even in HiRes.

I did not find any tool under that name seemingly, do I have to install Picasso96 and the other arsenal for that?

And there is no solution for this game?

Darn those americans with their interlace...

Perhaps we should start from the beginning and ask some basic questions

What system are you trying to run it on? What version of Workbench have you got? Which version of ATrain in particular are you trying to run?

O.T. Bollox I just lost out on a 2028 SCSI card

Even if it doesn't help here, you find it in the Tools drawer of your Workbench 3.1 install.

It`s the Workbench 3.1 with nothing else installed than WHDLoad, on an A1200. The version is the one that`s installed from the original floppies (without WHDLoad, as the WHDLoad installer for this game does not install the HiRes version of the game)

I might be nosy about this one, but:

That's strange. It's on the Extras disk. Maybe your installation is not complete?

Got outbidded in last few seconds on Ebay. Nothing new there. Happens a lot.

I'm in the process of trying this on my 4000D. Just copying the floppies over.

Thank-you for that and sorry for the trouble. You mean copying as in installing?

I don`t know, I installed it just as I had done it before, and I knew that before I had troubles with an outdated installer tool after which I couldn`t install WHDLoad, and I have that problem again, mind you

In that case then - yes install the Picasso stuff. You'll find your display a lot better and it should help with the flicker.

I'll confirm that in a minute - Just installing on my 4000D at the minute.

I was thinking of rather having a pre-installed Workbench. Do you have good thoughts about this one?

AmigaInABox is not the best out there. Sadly ClassicWB is not available atm, so you should try AmigaSys.

If you`re trying to install the game using WHDLoad you will probably won`t get the AGA version installed. Use the original installer from the disks instead.

There is no AGA version. It's just an HiRes option I wonder why the WHDLoad version is LoRes. Maybe there were the same problems as here.
