I used The Grand Old Duke Of York in Bill's Tomato Game.
I used another known tune in another game, but both will have to remain nameless as a quick google search has revealed that it is still in copyright. Therefore I should never have used it. Oops. I thought it was really old. I can't think of any others. Tim Wright used O Little Town of Bethlehem in Lemmings, for which Psygnosis got sued. |

No idea. The rights have probably expired by now.

I am pretty sure the Mine Land theme is a well-known theme (although I could not put a name on it ): [ Show youtube player ] Or have I played the game too much and think its themes are popular themes? Also, Apidya future/techno level uses samples from L.A. Style's James Brown is Dead: [ Show youtube player ] Actually, when I listen to the whole techno soundtrack I have the feeling that there are samples from other techno songs I have heard although I could not point to anything specific. Perhaps I am mistaken though. Or maybe it is due to some samples belonging to some sample/SFX collections that were sold to musicians and are therefore present in several music titles and other media (video games, movies etc...). |

The legendary One-On-One basketball from Electronic Arts, one of the first games I ever saw running on an Amiga. Only works with Kickstart 1.2, and features a nice version of Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag. I audio-ripped it very recently, since it seems impossible to play on DeliPlayer. In The Zone! in a couple of minutes!

I always loved your soundtrack for Globdule. There is one tune, that reminds me a lot of Go West by Pet shop boys.

Thanks very much. I'd be interested to know which tune as it certainly wasn't intentional.

Great soundtrack Globdule, yes! It must be globdulenice3, listening to it right now. Sounds just a bit like Go West at the beginning. It would be great if you could do a quick mp3 upload of those tunes that don't play well on a pc, if it's not much of a hassle of course.

Chuck Rock's title is based on Wishbone Ash - Phoenix (great early 70's prog), mostly on the chorus. I'd like it, it rocks, except that it's a ripoff, there's no credits given to the original author/song.
Here's Youtube links, Wishbone Ash - Phoenix : [ Show youtube player ] (skip to 4:50! similarities start there) Chuck Rock Amiga title : [ Show youtube player ] (same riff etc 0:14 onwards) Last edited by StuntCarRacer; 02 April 2013 at 22:56. |

Something on the ST (and likely the amiga version too) had pretty much a copy of Rebel MC - Street Tuff. It was a puzzle game... can't remember the title...
