Gens 3.18 has 060 support too (and I guess Monam does but I don't recall) - perhaps the 3.50 version has some other tweaks?

I would say that this french Devpac 3.50 just looks like a hacked version because I won't expect such a silly statement with a national orientation from any professional developer:

This stupid message is only displayed in case you are not using the french language!

It's not fake, ADFI has bought the rights to hisoft to produce a french release of Devpac. they have in the same time corrected many bugs, all the documentation, help, tutorials, tools, any code parts have been translated to french. Considering the amount of things to translate in french, it's surely not a fake.

And concerning the problem stated by peter, this is because the french release was not meant to be distributed and used in england ! It's a kind of territory protection and maybe a request from hisoft itself in order to not compete with the english release....

Devpac 3.50 has the following enhancements compared to the latest english release :

- Fully multi-windows multitasking and perfectly asynchrone
- 68060 supported
- Interface has a better ergonomy
- Guide style fully respected
- Numbering and dates formats are correctly respected
- Can be used in good harmony with hitenforcer and Mungwall
- Bugs fixed (flickering, Aga screen, can be used now on amiga 4040, cut'n'paste now correct, etc..)
- New editor functions (marks, online help, line indication : this function had disappeared, parenthesis verification, letters with accents are now recognized, etc..)
- Existing functions enhancements (Monam launch is doing an assembly in memory if it has not been done before when before it was just crashing.)
- If you open a source and its include file with an error in it since you were assembling the source, the erreur is also positioned in the include file.

This last update also includes the following :

- Amigaguide hypertext help files
- include files adapted
- programming lessons

- Optimizations dictionary
- alphabetical index, family & thematic
- Interfaçing with the Autodocs.guide files
