oh thx! there i found PicShow!!! it seems to recognice almost every file format, .ico too!!!
i was always looking for such an easy to use picture viewer which is working on amigaos!!!
doubleclick, navigate to folder with pictures in and scroll through pictures (mousewheel)!
btw. how do i use this picshownav.iff? menu doesn't show any pictures/icons...
how can i make PicShow displaying animated gifs in original size, not resized to screen height?

As far as I know animated gifs are a very difficult task to archieve, even for MUI, and that also can mean a lot of CPU use to handle with that.

Edit: Well, I've just added gif images to ReqAttack in my latest AKReal update, and they work well in a real miggy, so I'm wrong about the CPU use.

PicShow does not recognise anything by itself, it only uses datatypes.

Pictures are only scaled if you enabled scaling. Normally they are shown in their original size.

The navigation bar can be opened with F5. All key assignments are shown with Help.

There is a German guide included.

picshow does handle animated gifs but it enlarges them to full screen height. want them shown in original size, not enlarged.
if picshow is able to display them (which it definitely is) then surely it's also able to show these files in their original size.
i just can't find the option for this... as i said, i'm sure, there is an option for this. picshow has so many menus/options available.

"Bild in normaler Größe zeigen" (Amiga + 0) doesn't seem to work on animated gifs.
they are enlarged to fit from top screen to bottom screen. very big on 1080p.
and resize does only affect one single frame of an animated gif.
//edit: found it: "skalieren" (english "scale"?) has to be turned off...

@Thomas
I tested Thumb, It would be very useful to be able to save the thumbnails in the format Icon "PNG"
