Didn't have time yesterday :/, today I'll look it up (anyone else have working Getpath?). Maybe a corrected package should be then uploaded to Aminet.

I hacked the file from Slam Tilt, so it matched the one from RebootStart, it executes the file OK now, but there's still something wrong because before automatically restarting the computer it says "Unknown Command" twice and then just reboots to a 1> prompt.
The only command that I can see that it wouldn't know is the game exe, so it's probably not getting the path. I assume it only runs the REBOOT-START script that it runs before rebooting. It looks like the 2 "Unknown Commands" must be the getpath, but I'm sure the getpath is working but the script doesn't seem to find it. It's a good job I'm finding this interesting or I would have gone nuts by now

I think I got Rebootstart working at last, but it still didn't get SWOS running, it says "insert volume RAM_0" which isn't mentioned in the scripts, so I think the game must be asking for it
Oh well! I think I'll put my A1200 away with the rest of my collection of 80's 90's home computers and try install Linux on my PS3 |

I have idem result here with sensible soccer....insert volume ram_0 it seems that reboot-start works fine with most of the games but not works on sensible soccer don't know why in my particular case I use reboot start only for capital punishment and fighting spirit aga cause whdload versions are buggy |

Sorry Overkill have been busy and forgetting this Getpath completely, but glad you got it from the Zone(?)
Try altering the S-S script so that RAD is removed only after when you exit the game, that may remove the "insert volume RAM_0" maybe. |

Thanks for the reply, I've given up on it for the time being. I'm hoping to get an emulator installed on my PS3

In the Zone
You have to click on SET_PATH and type your location using Device Names E.g DH1:games/SWOS Then Play Last edited by Retro1234; 19 January 2012 at 10:52. Reason: Im a dick |

Can't get SWOS to work, either from floppies or HD. Tried many things but no go, always black screen and infinite reboots/nothing happens. WHDLoad works so Overkill, it's time for you to upgrade your memory with a memcard/turbocard...

What about what I uploaded? This should work fine on a bog standard A1200.
there might still be a chance Galahad can update the WHDload install to work on 2mb. |
