WinUAE, Gotek with Flashfloppy firmware, and (by the look of the source code) Mister do support it. If anyone is interested in checking out the unmodified "party" version, I converted it from an IPF image posted at Pouet.
It might be worth noting that I never said the contrary.
Why did you quote my message?

I know perfectly well what the mailed floppy looks like (and I also referred to the missing data from track 81 in a previous post).
And to respect what I think are the right wishes of bifat I have not in any way touched track 40 where there are readme and copyright messages (abusing it would have made much simpler the 80 track ADF).

From the beginning I simply said that I have made a version of this great demo for all those who for whatever reason cannot use a non-standard ADF (yes, an 81 cylinders ADF is not a standard version of an Amiga floppy, no matter supported by how many software).

EDIT: I read your reply, my apology, I misinterpreted your attitude.
Especially the fact that you posted two different links and it seemed very out of place considering the thread is well specific.

I quoted the message because it contained the relevant context that I wanted to expand upon. It wasn't meant as a reply to or attack on you, don't worry!

Small update:

- removed "press f1 to copy disk" message
- added support for floppy without RDY signal (ESCOM A1200 or modded PC floppy) [please test it]

Cheers.

Very cool, how does the trackloader fix look like? I didn't know about drives with this issue. So you just removed probing for the disk ready signal, or have you found more issues?

Hi bifat, I shortened the time waiting for the RDY to something like 500ms.
If the RDY signal is before the deadline I continue otherwise I consider it valid regardless after the timeout.

No other issues found

My compliments for the demo, it's awesome!

I just got a report from a user: the demo (all versions) get stuck on startup on A500 ECS KS1.3 1MB chip.
WinUAE confirms this.
I think is something memory related.. I investigate.

EDIT: ah, got it, it's related to SuperState()
ISP stack destroy the first packed data in low memory, I will fix it

Hi ! I'm a bit late at the party, would it be possible to post this version again ?
I tried many versions on my A1200 + HxC and the only one working was an ADF "party version" (MD5 : 2dafa5ed8af8103da3c6d4a8fa95f898)

This version works but seems to end abruptly with trashed sound at the end. (same on a MiSTer FPGA in accurate A500 mode)

I tried a 1 MB IPS and a 2 MB ADF, and none of those booted on my HxC (after being converted to HFE).

Thanks a lot :-)

Did you try the writetranshuman executable? If I understand correctly, that's the official online distribution of the final version (I think the only difference between the versions is the disk format). There's a download link on Pouet.

@ross : YES ! I've tried half of dozen versions and this is the only one that works 100% on my A1200+HxC. THANK YOU

I love this demo
