How do I do the account if it doesn't really make me connect to the Grandis website?
But if I wait a few days, then I will be able to connect again? |

Once your ban is lifted you can create an account here: https://ftp2.grandis.nu/turranadduser/
Like chip suggested it is a good idea to use a FTP client with your account credentials to enjoy unlimited downloading. |

I tried to grab that 45GB Amiga tar, but my DL speeds are ~300kb/s. I think I'm logged in with my dreadnought account credentials (but not 100% sure). Any way to check it?

Allright, I tried with Filezilla and get much better results (around 6 MiBs). Must be something with my WinSCP config. Thanks again for checking.

Speeds for the different sites are
ftp.grandis.nu = Paying for 100Mbit but get closer to 300Mbit ftp2.grandis.nu = 1 Gbit grandis.nu (registered accounts only) = 10 Gbit Quote:
Its about 7 days. I can remove the ban if its still not cleared. PM me your external IP if so (checkip.dyndns.org) Last edited by Turran; 21 March 2024 at 09:31. |

I mentioned one on the previous page, but if you want "the most updated" then I think the Turran is the best option.
Besides, 7 days really isn't that long... |

Archive's torrent service has improved a lot since their abysmal-speeds days.
Btw, do you know how much up-to-date our local Amiga TOSEC is? For some reason I have the impression it's being updated more or less on the fly, but is it actually true? |

The updates are marked 2023-01 and 2023-07. The main TOSEC release is 2023-07 (at least the one on archive.org)

The version on the file server is indeed the 2023-07 release. It is always updated once the TOSEC release is available. There is also a 'fix' for those that have the pre-latest TOSEC to the update it to the latest TOSEC available in 'TOSEC Updates'.
