Hi,

I just discovered the site. It's amazing how some of the scans trigger such complete memories of those pages I first saw when I was 11 or 12 years old. Great job.

One problem: I'm reaching the limit of 20 pages per day, but I don't see any maths question? I only discovered by reading this thread that there was even a bar at the bottom that tells you how many viewings you have left, or that there's a maths question to see more. Perhaps if it was a popup my browser blocked it and I didn't know? Then after restarting the browser I was stuck with no more page views, and no popup either. I don't know. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Can you allow popups from http://amr.abime.net and retry please? You should get a simple maths question to prove you're not a bot and then get access to 100 scans each day. The popup code is the same as for any picture so it is very odd that it wouldn't work. Tell us what browser you are using aswell please...

I want to see the formula that requires you to prove that 1 + 1 = 3

Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I've returned since last week, to hopefully see more than 20 pages this time.

Okay, is there a way to trigger the popup that provides the maths question? Or a link to its URL? Because I've just reached 20 pages again and it hasn't appeared. How and when is the popup meant to appear? Upon clicking the 20th picture? Because after that, the thumbnails are unclickable. Using Firefox, with http://amr.abime.net as an exception in the popup blocker.

Another day when I can't see more than 20... fair enough

Can you try it again now please? I think I found a bug that may have caused the problem. I hope!

I actually had this same problem about two weeks ago (using Firefox), but it seems to have magically cured itself. Yay.

And I say again; GREAT site, one of the very best retro sites on the entire web. Your work is much appreciated.

Oh go on then, another "we're not worthy"...

I can see from the logs that today many people have viewed between 100 and 200 scans.
Is strange 'cause today I didn't reach the 200 pages (67 pages viewed if I'm not mistaken) but after the first question that I answered in the right way (9+6= 15) I can't view any more pages...

Actually your account does show you viewed 200 pics today:

ip_address=81.9.196.48
pics_viewed=200
pics_allowed=200

I have reset it anyway, if you could see if it is accurate and report any bugs that would be great.

Maybe the problem could be when the day starts for the database, as I said today I saw 26 pages of CU Amiga 1994 October issue and 41 pages of September issue.

But if you count pages that I saw yesterday maybe that's why I my numbers and your don't match.

That's something that I had always wondered: what time do you use for the database? when the day starts?

Since a week or so the number of pages dropped since 200 pages (the usual ones) to 100 pages and in the last days I can only see 20 pages a day...
