I read that you don't need a ROM file anymore with PPC Macs. You need a MacOS CD for generic macs. Those CDs have the ROM file on it!

Does one CSPPC + a CSMKIII + 2 BPPC's count as two CS PPC's

by all means upload it ratterpat!

so, the terrible burden of presidential life is mine, and mine alone... I have 2 csppc's... thus with my power, I make Amigaz the vice-president, since he also has a G-Rex4000D.
our lives will be changed now, we join the glorious ranks. Trips, jets , celebrities and high-class whores are now ours to grab. yeah!

The speed problem with iFusion is the hdd driver in MacOS 9 which was 68k. So the driver runs in emulation which doesn't perform very well of course. But for the rest it was useable just missing network support was the reason to uninstall it later.

But wouldn't that mean that real Macs with 604 processors suffered that 68k driver problem too? I guess that wouldn't be acceptable if it's really slow? Didn't Apple release a PPC driver at some point?

Missing network support is a shame really... Isn't there a solution like VLink or something as with ShapeShifter and Fusion?

Oops, now I remember.....apparently it was a bug with WarpOS and NOT iFusion. Jim Drew tried sorting it out with Sam Jordan (one of the WarpOS authors), but they never managed to figure it out.

Anyway, whilst doing a search I also found that iFusion may have problems under P96 (it was developed with CyberGraphX 4.x in mind to begin with) and with Mediator boards:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp....h%2F2001-05%3F

http://www.amiga.org/modules/newbb/v...=34244&forum=9

http://aminet.net/package/biz/patch/ifusion_update

Finally, I found the FAQ that I used a few years back to help with troubleshooting iFusion problems:

http://web.archive.org/web/200105050...xt/fusion2.txt

I am not sure but there is a big speed different between MacOS 9 and MacOS 8 or 7 so I guess that its a driver problem somehow.
