I was excited when I saw someone mentioning porting Amiberry for Android quiet some time ago but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have really happened.

I was in converse with Midwan about the amiberry to android, he even sent an image with amiberry on his phone. That was 5+ yrs ago, no other info happened after that. So I take it, that it was a hoax, as lots of promises were made but nothing ever eventuated from it.

I wanted to try Stuntman Seymour. The sound wasn't quite right but I can live with that. But I'll say it again the on screen controller is horrendous. It's a circle ??

I'll try it with Xbox controller and that will probably be fine

Or use retroarch, aniga core. Stuntman Seymour works perfect. In fact all the games I tested with uae4arm that failed work fine with retroarch.

Anyway, yesterday I had to buy a new phone for one of my mini-Godzillas (strange how easy a phone can be lost. You know where you forgot it but 5 minutes later it's not there and nobody that was around has see it - bref....).

So after buying a new one, we have been to g@@le play (v.41.3.25-32... / android 13) and :
- no UAE4all
- no UAE4Droid
- no Amiga forever essentials
- no retroarch
- no libretto

Most of these are available on my old android 8.1.0 with g@@ play 41.0.28-23.

Tried f.droid, but nothing there either.
The only emulator that comes up when typing "Amiga" is GEKKO and it doesn't work as it requires that you remove your proxy (after installation when running it).

Any idea ?

Maybe don't restrict yourself to the Play Store? I don't upload any of my Android software there as I don't want to pay a fee to list free software, and for other reasons. Many others are the same.

Try apkpure.com, it has several UAEs.

^ Apkpure did it. Have now installed UAE4Droid. Upon launch, android warn that the application has been developed for an older android but seems to work. Need to configure and test.

There are many amiga emus for android that are too old for current android versions hence your error.

But as indictated in my post, Retroarch is not on the play store...
If I have issues with UAE4Droid I will give a go by downloading it directly from their site as I have seen it is possible.

Good luck UAE4droid is available on my playstore but is not compatible with my current phone device, maybe because it hasn't been updated in years...

You can't grab a current retroarch apk and install it? If it's not on your playstore?

I have defined FF as a secure source for apk install and was able to install f.droid and apkpure this way, so I think yes retroarch could as well be installed.
