Ah I see, I should really add this one to the list properly. I'll test it on my Amiga again see if I can generate an error other than messy graphics.
We could really do with that original version just to check though. I still hate this game. |

can you tell me what problem you have with gohstbattle ?
I have finished it without graphics bugs. But it seems that highscore routine has a problem. |

thanks let me see that
This error was not present on whdload version inferior to 16.7. I have the same error as you KG, but can you try with nommu and nocache tooltype ? i forgot to add them.... Last edited by dlfrsilver; 09 July 2007 at 20:38. |

Strange, I have exactly the same blizzard
I shall give it one last shot later to see if I can get it to work. Still doesn't help explain Retro-Nerd's error though. |

Just tested it in WinUAE and it works fine, this is really a X-file. But this is no proof, because it seems to crash randomly, and i'm to lazy/no good enough to play through this crappy game. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 09 July 2007 at 21:50. |

Right...
Firstly I realised that my Amiga wasn't running the very latest WHDLoad... The graphics glitches are gone but collisions still throw my character through walls/enemies and I got stuck off of the screen so this game definitely still has errors. I'll be putting this on the list too. Last edited by killergorilla; 08 August 2007 at 17:20. |

Just tried the slave v1.1. The game still crashes on my real Amiga with an Illegal Instruction. So i assume this install doesn't like my hardware configuration or something.

Teoretically you can have problems with Thalion logo - it always caused trouble on some configurations. |

Well, i've sent a bug report for the old slave last year. I still get the same sporadic crashes after a few seconds ingame.

68030? Damn, but why? I really removed lot of bugs in this update, debug mode doesn´t detect anything more. NOCACHE doesn´t help?

Yes, 68030. Tried several WHDLoad versions, with and without Caches. Maybe Chain will test your new slave. Looks like it works better in WinUAE.
I give up here, the game isn't worth this painful testing sessions. |

hmm, one logical question - where are your disk images from? how game crashes, with error message?

I use KG'S preinstalled version. We already discussed the possibilty of a faulty disk image. But nobody seems to have another original.

I have preinstalled disk image from Mr. Larmer. Retro-Nerd or somebody, please send me disk image that throws an error for you and I will verify if it´s different version.
