Very cool videos. But is he running a polygon based editor written in basic on an Amiga there!?

I only ask because the tool runs incredibly smoothly, quite an accomplishment.

The game use a bytecode interpretor/engine (like Lucas or Sierra games). The editor is written in GFA basic on an Amiga, but the game itself is written in 68000 assembler.

Just stumbled upon a video that I don't think I have seen posted here (or I missed it) featuring Eric Chahi commenting the game while playing it (n00b ):

Edit: At 17:00 onwards he mentions the passage with Steam and states that it was added (compared to the Amiga version) because Interplay wanted the game to be more difficult for the SNES version.
