Good one, the third boss of Gods is pretty cool since it has that nice stomping sound and it actually jumps around.
The 4th boss is a slap in the face though. You go from a cool (but easy) praetorian to an even cooler (but easy) dragon to a cool... pig warrior? to... a floating skull that makes creaking noises. What. The hell. Were they thinking. |

How the hell did they do that fire effects from the Dragon? And all other fire/explosion effects. If it's a pixel art drawing, frame by frame, that's the best fire I have ever seen in any old game, and even cartoons. |

Yeah, that huge ant at 17:11 is cool.
Last night I got a little farther in Sword (again it's a super fun game if you haven't tried it although one of the hardest I've ever played) and there's another huge boss at 30:00 [ Show youtube player ] I can't wait to see what the final boss is going to look like, resisting the urge to spoil myself with the longplay. BTW Sword has two great looking parallax levels so far, odd that they didn't put those at the beginning since usually the best looking levels are near the start. |

I finally finished Sword last night, had to cheat on the last boss, the longplayer said it was the hardest boss he ever fought. I wasn't disappointed by the size of the last boss, he was huge and there was a very cool effect where he stomped the screen and made rocks fall, you can see it at 46:39 here
[ Show youtube player ] Lots of great suggestions so far, the Amiga really had some great bosses, except Mehdi Ali and Irving Gould |

By the way, while the end boss of sword is a full playfield being slung around, in Powder those are all bobs! ant body, abdomen and legs are 4-color ones and the head is an 8-color one, thanks to our system of rendering just some bitplanes and not others, in a full 25FPS with no slowdowns |

The last few days I've been playing Video Kid which is a rather impressive game visually and was thrilled by the first owl boss which was large and rather unique. The owl is at 9:35 [ Show youtube player ] and also in the thumbnail. The other bosses were cool too at 20:11 (this one even had zooming) the end boss at 54:33 and my second favourite the Space Invader style boss at 32:44 [ Show youtube player ] |

Finished Entity for the first time this weekend and was impressed by the first level T-Rex boss, almost looked like it might have been 3D rendered. You can see it at 13:57
[ Show youtube player ] This turned out to be a pretty fun game, very atmospheric.

Honestly the biggest boss I've ever seen was SOTB. So big they could only get his toe in.

I think I may have found the holy grail. The Amiga's biggest boss. Was playing through Pinkie and check out the size of this guy at 1:02:50 he's about 5 screens tall
[ Show youtube player ]. This game has some great bosses, also check out the one at 25:15. I couldn't believe Pinkie wasn't AGA, the graphics in the levels at say 1:06:06 and 1:18:52 with the animated backgrounds look incredible. It really feels like playing inside a cartoon. Definitely think it makes the top 10 of best OCS/ECS graphics.

That group of nasty final bosses in Hired Guns was also impressive. Those guys were huge!
