Who can forget the Cannon Fodder music? I have it on a tape, with other non-game musics, that I listen a lot!
I drooled when I first heard it, it was the first time I saw a game music with LYRICIS without being a CD game. And the Cannon Foder music is still the best one in Sensible games. |

Beast 1: Intro tune, welcome tune and level 1 tune. Beast 2: Intro tune and death/reincarnation music. R-Type 2: Level 2 music and Continue music. Hybris: Level 1 tune. Hero quest: in game tune. Shadow Fighter: lots of great music in this one. Full Contact: Intro and menu tunes. Crazy Sue: Intro and Level 1 music. Killing Game Show: ultra psycho rock music. Faiery Tale: Battle music. Hostages: subtle music which works really well. Monkey Island: lots of exotic flavours here. Speedball 2: intro music. Hey Akira... don't get too excited about my post to this thread. It was just a momentary lapse of reason!
![]() War... never been so much fun! Go to your brother, kill him with your gun... Oh god, you've started me off again. Bloody song is driving me insane! Anyway, I'm off to contemplate the return of the BBC model B as the next big thing in computing circles. It's bound to revolutionise gaming as we know it. ![]() |

I think Battle Squadron not only has excellent musics, but also fantastic sound effects, and it rates as one of the best "hearing" games I ever played. The sound of the main ship blowing is just the best sound of this kind I´ve ever heard Soundwise, Battle Squadron is simply perfect. (Well, in terms of gameplay it´s nearly perfect too

Alfred Chicken, wow, there's a blast from the past. Dave Whitaker (ex C64) wrote the original music, for the Gameboy. The amiga version is an arrangment of his tracks.

Well,I add to the votes for Cannon Fodder,a tune to drive you mad,but in good fun at the same time!
And of course the Shadow of the Beast games deserve a mention, & I support the votes for Chris Heulsbeck stuff like Turrican & X-out on Amiga were wonderful tracks. I'd also add the intro tune from Unreal by Ubisoft,(the old Amiga game, for those who know it.) |

ummmm..... I didn't see Heimdall or Heimdall2 mentioned(hope i didn't scim over it). The intro was hilarious to the first one, all that swedish(?). And all the sounds throughout the game were very cool.
